‘Don’t let my husband near me – he pushed me’: Moment witness reveals in court the haunting words of dying pregnant lawyer after she was shoved off Arthur’s

This is the shocking moment a witness described how a dying woman told her ‘don’t let my husband near me – he pushed me’ after she was thrown 50ft off Arthur’s Seat.

Fawziyah Javed, 31, was murdered by Kashif Anwar, 29, at the Edinburgh landmark in September 2021 following a horrific campaign of abuse.

Now MailOnline can share an exclusive clip of a witness revealing how Fawziyah said it was her husband that shoved her to her death before it is aired on Channel 4 tonight.

In the clip from ‘The Push: Murder on the Cliff’ Daniyah Rafique, 24, is asked by lead prosecutor Alex Prentice KC if she reached the lady and if she was still alive.

Ms Rafique said she was and that she started yelling to Anwar saying that she had found his wife. Anwar then answered back, asking if ‘she was bleeding’.

Mr Prentice questioned Ms Rafique on what Fawziyah’s reaction was to this. The witness said: ‘She told me not to let her husband near her and that he had pushed her.’

Fawziyah also helped jail her husband from beyond the grave by collecting evidence of the abuse she was subjected to by Anwar.

She was told my him just months before her death: ‘The sooner you’re dead or the sooner you’re out of my life, it’ll be better.’
